Oh yeah, for those friends that know Glen and Jeanette, their little girl was born yesterday at 8 pounds something. They named her Riley Katherine (edit: oh, boy. I misspelled both, heh!). Both mother and daughter are well and healthy. ^_^ Oh, and Riley is a brunette, which will compliment their blond daughter Aleis, and their redheaded daughter Charissa, heh.

I went to the hospital last night and chatted with her for an hour or so, and held Riley for most of that. Of course, Riley slept, so she was cute. ^_~ She has a THICK head of dark brown hair, heh. Jeanette was tired but cheerful and ready to go home, which she does today, I believe.

I don't think that there is a baby shower planned (she has all she needs for a little girl, heh), but I think I'm going to give her a couple of packs of diapers or something practical...

Pick up several different diapers. She'll be outgrowing them quickly at this point. That was one thing I really liked about the diapers we got. Sure we got a few packs of the newborn ones but then we also had a pack or two of the next step up and then one of the following step up.

Since the baby is already here you may also want to wait and see if they have a diaper preference. Some do better on kids then others.

And finally... footed pajamas ;) They're so cute :)
