jaelieHm. It's been a little while since my last update. I guess that's because nothing unusual or exciting has happened. That's a good thing, but it does make for really boring updates. ^_~

finari's house every Thursday, we take a long meandering walk with Taltos (and with Duke, too, from now on!), and then either play WoW, watch a movie or just hang out. Fridays we either game or just hang out, Saturdays we game or hang out or go to the farm. Sundays are church and hanging out.
Although, this weekend was slightly different. Friday after work, I went to the park withfinari and narkeys to meet their prospective, and now official, golden retriever. We had a nice visit with the foster-mom, and an amusing time watching our two dogs have a pee contest over some poor unfortunate tree.
I also had to re-establish dominance with my pooch, since he found a dead bird he wanted to keep. When I took it from him, he growled at me, so I flipped him (a fairly acrobatic feat on my part, seeing that Taltos is 97 lbs of all muscle, and I'm 130 lbs of not muscle, heh) and pinned him to the ground and held him there till he stopped his growling. Later that same evening, he growled at Matt and received similar treatment, albeit a bit rougher since Matt can muscle the pooch rather than aikido him. Poor dog. I think he's used to being the top dog from his kennel days, as he is so much larger than other greyhounds, and he's most certainly omega in our family.
After the park visit, I headed on over toannawick's place. We had a fun time visiting, eating sushi (mmmmmmmm sushi!), admiring Lex, and watching a movie. Heh. At Sushi Zone, our waitress did a bit of a double take and asked us if we were twins. Although in all fairness, we both had our hair down and were wearing our glasses. ^_^ I spent the night there and left in the morning.
Saturday was gaming at Glen's, then Sunday church, of course, and dinner and much visiting at the parents'.
