Squirrels....

Little nature critters are so fun to watch.
This morning, after our walk and while I was relaxing in my dining room, I had the back door open. I watched all the critters: several sparrows, a robin, a mockingbird, three blue jays, and a squirrel.
I love squirrels!
He was rummaging around, digging up seeds or something, then moving and reburying them. Occasionally, the three blue jays that were perched on the fence would randomly dive bomb the squirrel, startling the dickens out of my fuzzy friend. When he was finally done, he scampered over to the crape myrtle in the corner and started to climb up, when yet again he was dive bombed and knocked out of the tree. He sat at the bottom of the tree and chittered indignantly at the offending blue jay, then hopped to the fence and slid under the bottom. Heh. Blue jays are mean! Even though I was giggling the whole time....
I guess it's a good thing I'm easily amused.
I just realized.
Today is Wednesday.
I only have one day of work left this week!
