Journal vs Diary?
Apr. 20th, 2004 07:41 pmThings have calmed down a little bit at the office. We have internet now (yay!!), even though I had to catch up with over 200 emails (ick!).
I found an old journal of mine - the first entry is dated Jan 26, 1986, and the last entry is dated Jul 14, 1992. Heh. The diary of my high school days. I also found the journal my sophomore English teacher made us keep. It was a very amusing read. I wonder if I should try to type it up into a digital format to preserve it.... Though really, who wants to read the ramblings of a silly teenaged girl? Heh.
So what is the difference between a journal and a diary? Other than journal at least sounds more sophisticated....
( Hm... Merriam-Webster says: )
