Quick Update

Not much to really update, although it has been a bit since the last big one. My weeks are pretty much the same. Weekdays working, week nights reading or watching movies or playing on the computer and just generally hanging out with my love. Occasionally tinkering with fabric. Weekends, hanging out with friends or family. Whee!

Oddly enough, that makes it seem like I have nothing to do, and yet every Saturday is booked with activities. It's just that those activities can be covered by the blanket "hanging out with friends or family."

I've got a lot of projects I'd like to do. I wish there were more hours in a day, or that I could function with a lot less sleep. Either, really, would be acceptable.

This Saturday we're heading out to the farm for some shooting. Next Saturday is Irish Festival. Both should be a lot of fun.

Oh, yeah. Yesterday, when I took the hound for an afternoon walk at the shop, he met a cow for the second time. The first time he saw one he wanted to run away. This time he growled and lunged at it while it stared at him (unperturbed) from across the barbed wire fence. Heh. Then he stepped on some kind of metal mesh trash that was on the ground and freaked himself out, even though he was completely unhurt. How brave thou art, o hound!

I shall see you all at NTIF! Jenni's coming down to visit for it. We'll be there Fri - Sun. I may possibly attempt to take Maizy for a little while one day. You bringing the hound?

Yeah, we'll probably be bringing the hound. He gets along great with other dogs and behaves like a dream in crowds. Well, as long as he's not sniffing people. He's at the perfect height to make it a little awkward, heh.
