Farm Chores and New Hair Colors!

We spent last Friday and Saturday morning at the farm. After we did what we could there, we headed back home. On the way home, I had the brilliant idea of calling finari. Since I was driving, I made Matt do the calling (Sorry, my quirk. I won't use the phone and drive at the same time. I hate when others do it and I won't do it myself).

The plan: send Paul and Matt to my house where they play WoW, while finari and I dye our hair, then all head to our friends' home to play some good old D&D.

The plan went smoothly - finari came out of the afternoon with dark red hair and myself with black. Of course, I was kind of aiming for dark brown, but hey. I always wondered what I'd look like with black hair and now I know. ^_~ Now I just have to decide if I want to continue with this color.

ATTN! GEEK TALK! The game was fun, although Paul's character almost got dead twice. Luckily we have a character in our group that is a cleric with the Luck and Travel domains, so he petitioned to activate his Luck domain power so the DM would have to reroll the damage roll that gibbed Paul's character. The petition was granted and damage re-rolled, and my character got to the dwarf in time to heal him. Heh.

Sunday was pretty laid back, and Monday of course was crazy at work. As always. I think tonight after horses, I may try and paint a little. It's been several weeks since I've picked up a paint brush, and I owe a friendly acquaintance a painted mini....

Tomorrow: VtR! Yay!

Heh, I just picked up another box of black the other day. I was wanting to get back to my natural haircolor, but coloring it is just so much fun. So I currently have a stockpile of 2 Egyptian Plums, a Cinaberry, and a Neutral Black. And of course, I often think of you when coloring. Never did get my blue on though. Maybe I'll mix some blue in the black and go for another round.

Yeah. ^_^ Coloring is a hoot. This is the second time that I got a darker color than originally intended, but ended up liking the result none the less. I think the black actually suits me.

I always did love your hair. Regardless of color, the texture is gorgeous.
