While Taltos and I were taking Greyhound Dog Skills 101 taught by Mary Waugh at Wags to Whiskers in Plano, we met a little greyhound named Maya and her people.

The two dogs have almost identical markings and coloring: dark brindle, with white tuxedo markings and a bit of white on the tip of their tail. Maya has a white spot on her nose that Taltos lacks. The truly amusing and remarkable thing is that Maya is on the small end of the Greyhound breed at 55 pounds (she may have actually gained some weight up to 57 pounds), where as Taltos is on the extreme large end of the Greyhound breed at 96 pounds and 32 inches at the shoulder.
